Victorian Coach House, Hampshire

The refurbishment of this Victorian coach house involved a complete overhaul of all living spaces, a kitchen extension and the reconfiguration of existing rooms to create two extra bedrooms. Lottie worked as project manager, designed the breakfast room and also all the fitted joinery and pieces of standalone furniture. She also created effective mood lighting throughout.

Each room is striking in its individuality and Lottie is mindful of using different textiles on all furniture and window treatments. Her use of pops of colour against more muted backdrops, original artwork and artefacts, along with juxtaposing contemporary pieces with traditional ensures that each room is uplifting, personal and inviting.

Lottie also designed outside areas including the courtyard garden around which the Coach House is built which is full of year-round colour and interest. The old pool hut has been made into a family eating area with a raised fire and seating.
