Listen to the client’s brief and fully understand what is required, what is possible and how best to achieve this. Discuss the client’s lifestyle requirements and their vision.
Develop the concept and bring the brief to life with detailed architectural plans, room layouts, detailed lighting designs as well as budget estimates and timelines.
Design any bespoke pieces to fit the client’s requirements. Source furniture, upholstery and artworks from an established portfolio of industry-related contacts. Collaborate with other specialists (joiners, lighting experts, upholsterers). Research and develop lighting and flooring schemes.
Oversee the implementation of the project, working closely with on-site contractors (builders, joiners, painters etc) to ensure quality control, deadlines and costs are adhered to. Style and dress rooms. Check and sign off on every last detail. The client will be fully briefed and consulted throughout the process.

Lottie is equally adept at creating and installing a garden from scratch, as she is at carrying out a complete redesign of an existing garden or terrace, or simply refreshing an ageing border with imaginative new planting.
Meet with client to discuss the space, atmosphere, planting and lifestyle requirements of the garden.
Survey of garden, photos, garden report.
Initial sketches of concept. Discuss layout with client. Draw up detailed landscape layout and suggested planting schemes to work out initial costings – discuss with client.
Once the plans have client approval, discuss with contractor. Source fences, trees, any necessary garden accessories ( such as planters, trellising, outdoor heaters). Research and source water features and lighting schemes if using. Collaborate with relevant respected specialists for build work, lighting etc. Final planting list with photos – discuss with client.
Oversee any ground works and development. Order and place plants for planting. Check for quality control and adhere to budgets and timelines. Advise client on most effective garden maintenance and any future planting.
